When you take a good look at these said artistes that will be listed below, you will realize that it’s not that their music is bad or wack or they lack the voice and talent or something.

Brymo is an artiste that has a unique voice and always stands apart from the crowd with his creative kind of music which always either tells a story or passes a very strong message which is beneficial to the listeners.
He began recording his music way back in 1999 when he was a little boy. After all the hustles here and there, he was finally able to land a recording deal with Chocolate City in 2010. In 2013, he was accused of breaching the contract with Chocolate city which then led to his exit.
Not every one knows this, Brymo has a son called, “Waju Ashimi” whom he gave birth to on the 27th of March, 2017. Brymo’s earlier disclosed when interviewed that his style of music can easily be called pop as it has the ability to cut across various people.
Over the course of his career, he has released several massive singles such as Ara, Good morning, Go hard, Life is too short, Brymstone etc. and albums ranging from “The Son of A Kapenta”, “Tabula Rasa”, “Klitoris”, including his latest one, “Oso”.

Johnny Drille, the “Lover Man” as i fondly refer to him hails from the southern part of Nigeria. How he came into the spotlight was when he made a cover of Dija’s “Awww” which rapidly was well received by many including me…lol.
Currenlty, he is signed to one of the biggest record label in Nigeria. Yes, you guessed right…… Mavin. Home to the likes of Reekado Banks, Korede Bello, recently exited music star, Tiwa Savage, etc.
When he sings, he sings to the heart. It goes directly into the soul. He has dropped many songs such as; “Awa Love”, “Romeo and Juliet”, “My beautiful Love”, “Finding Efe”, etc.

Blaqbonez announced a while back that he is the “Best Rapper in Africa”. The young rapper stepped into the spotlight when he won Terry tha Rapman’s zombie competition back then in February, 2012.
At exactly 5 months after he won that competition, he went on to release his first official single titled, “Stronger” which came off his mixtape, “Hip Hop in Blaq Mixtape”.
Shortly after that, he made the list of 5 rappers by Talkglitz whom were on the Hip-Hop radar including 10 rappers to watch out for in Africa by opinion polls. He steadily rose especially during the year 2018 which was a very active and busy year for him as he solidified his status as a rapper with lots of contents.
His album was highlighted as the album of the year by Soundcity alongside “Ye” by Burna Boy, “Rendevouz” by M.I including loads of others.
When asked whom were the rappers that inspired and motivated him to come this far, he said Mode 9, Terry Tha Rapman and M.I Abaga.

BOJ whom is a talented singer was initially in a group known as “DRB”. The members of this group met while they were still in college which is located in Worcestershire. He is regarded as an award winning alternative singer with a unique style and distinctive voice.
Over the course of his music career, he has worked with several artistes in the music industry including Falz, Olamide, Wande Coal, Seyi Shay, Dbanj, Lil kesh etc.
A huge break through for the artiste was his collaboration with Ajebutter 22 on the track, “Omo Pastor” including “Phantom” with Runtown.
5. Show Dem Camp
Full Name: Tec (Wale Davies) and Ghost (Olumide Ayeni)
Stage Name: Show Dem Camp [SDC]
This rap duo are based in Nigeria but normally live in Europe and United States before coming back to Lagos. Some of their successful works are “Clone Wars Volume 1 & 2”, “The Dreamer Project”, “Tropicana ft. Flash”. Unfortunately for them, they weren’t recognized the way they should have been and are still not widely known despite their huge works in the music scene.
